Surprising Beauty
I was unaware that you had such a brilliant taste in photography. The beauty in some of these images effectively inspired me. I felt reinvigorated by the grandeur in our world that you managed to capture. I do believe, however, that it may have been the simpler ones, such as the photos of people, that were the most impact full; some were quite vividly full of life, ferociously alive! These are spectacular photographs, quite lovely.

Hi John, I love your work! I'm ery impressed with your Porto photos... the scenic images are crisp and beautiful. The Walkway and Train Station photos have great composition. I very much like your nature designs, the stillness, color and depth. My favorite is the Winter Path. I'm very drawn to B & W! I'll bring my album to the gym next time I come in the morning (possibly this week, for sure next). Thanks for sharing your work... it's inspiring!!

The rose was shot with Provia 100. The scan recieved almost no tweaking in Photoshop except to clean up the scan. I don't have a macro lens, so I used a 200 mm lens very close at small apeture for DOF. My "lighting": room lights plus my garage halogen "work light." Primitive, but hopefully effective. Thanks for asking and thanks for the complements about my work. jj
